The Forstner bit has an excellent service life when drilling precision holes. The tooth-shaped design ensures less friction and heat, resulting in greater durability. The short centering tip of the precision bit has two main cutting edges and a peripheral cutting edge (tooth-shaped) for precise results. The large chip-free zones, which enable optimized chip removal, further support the fast drilling precision of the bit. It enables smooth, splinter-free drilling of blind holes as well as drilling on edges and slopes, e.g., for attaching hinges, dowelling, or removing knots. For drilling in soft or hardwood, veneer, and non-laminated chipboard. The three-sided shank of the Forstner bit prevents it from spinning in the chuck. It is manufactured according to DIN 7483G, with a cutting edge hardness of at least 50 HRC. It is suitable for all drills (drill drivers, pillar drills) with a 10 mm chuck.
