Notes

1. Helmet compulsory

For e-scooters with a maximum speed of 25 km/h, helmets are compulsory. Helmets are not required for vehicles traveling under 25 km/h.

2. Insurance

Liability insurance is mandatory. With the EU type approval (EEC) included in the delivery, you only need to insure the e-scooter with an insurance company of your choice. Moped insurance is required for this. You will receive a moped license plate from the insurance company. Therefore, a separate registration with the registration office is not necessary.

3. Driver's License

A class AM moped driver's license is required for e-scooters. Persons born before April 1, 1965, are exempt from the driver's license requirement.
