The powerful Smart DRIVE XL garage door operator with its extensive scope of delivery enables the radio-controlled operation of rail-guided up-and-over and sectional doors up to 14 m² in area. It is compatible with the Smart Friends Smart Home system, allowing additional control via the Smart Friends app or a combination with other smart products. The scope of delivery includes a 2-channel and a 4-channel handheld transmitter, a wall mount for the handheld transmitter, an internal push button, and a photocell. The high level of wireless security, easy programming, and the option to expand with extensive accessories make the Smart DRIVE XL a powerful model with many extras. The garage door opener has a pulling force of 1000 N and is suitable for garage doors weighing up to 100 kg. A door height of 2.35 m should not be exceeded.

Thanks to its simple one-person installation and semi-automatic limit position adjustment, the Smart DRIVE XL is ready for use in a short time. The Smart DRIVE XL's three-part guide rail is attached to the ceiling with a minimum distance of 35 mm and is made of galvanized, torsion-resistant steel. When the set limit positions are reached, the motor switches off precisely thanks to electronic travel detection.

The motor head is mounted on a galvanized steel sheet, which gives the garage door opener greater stability. The control panel and an LED display are located under the motor head. Additional connection options are located at the rear of the operator, where, for example, additional LED garage lighting or a wicket door contact can be connected. Furthermore, the Smart DRIVE XL features an integrated LED lamp and a cold plug connection, to which the Schellenberg coiled cable can be connected as a practical additional socket for the garage. Both the integrated and the additionally connected light switch on automatically when the garage door is opened and off automatically after three minutes. Another practical feature is that the light can be switched on or off independently of the garage door using the handheld transmitter. To keep your home safe at all times, all garage door opener models feature automatic obstacle detection, motor overheating protection, data retention in the event of a power failure, an emergency release for the inside, and tamper-proof radio transmission. Our proprietary Schellenberg radio protocol was developed to the highest security standards, ensuring that the garage door opener cannot be controlled by unauthorized persons. The innovative, bidirectional radio transmission operates at a frequency of 868.4 MHz and enables the Smart DRIVE XL to not only receive but also send signals.
