The A2 stainless steel terrace screw is used for fastening terraces and floor coverings outdoors due to its high resistance to weather influences. It creates a perfect connection and is particularly suitable for medium and hard woods.
The user is responsible for the construction.
The appropriate substructure must be selected depending on the decking boards/planks to be installed.
Recommended substructure installation spacing: 50-60 cm = approx. 35 screws per m².
Each support point of the planks on the substructure must be secured with two screws.
The recommended joint spacing of the planks is 4-7 mm, depending on the wood type.
Important installation note: Depending on the density and moisture content of the wood, pre-drilling may be necessary. It is recommended to screw in the A2 stainless steel decking screw at a low speed. Preliminary tests are generally required. To achieve a perfect installation result, the wood to be installed should have a moisture content of 16% +/- 2%.
