• Driver's license: Minimum age 15 years (§ 10 FeV): No driver's license required. Considered a wheelchair lift (Section 4, Paragraph 2): maximum width of 110 cm, maximum unladen weight of 300 kg, maximum total weight of 500 kg, electric drive, max. one seat. With a special permit, this vehicle may be driven even without a minimum age requirement.
• Insurance/License Plate: Vehicles up to 6 km/h are exempt from insurance, but should be included in your private liability insurance. Informing your private liability insurer is usually sufficient for this. No license plate is required.
• Helmet Requirement: There is no helmet requirement for drivers of motorcycles that do not reach a design-related speed higher than 20 km/h (6th Exception Regulation to the StVZO dated March 24, 1994).

*Important information on range
The vehicle's range in kilometers is influenced by several factors: the driver's defensive or offensive driving style (constantly at full throttle or not), payload: weight of the driver and luggage, route topography: flat terrain or mountainous routes, road surface characteristics: gravel roads, cobblestone roads, asphalt, etc., low tire pressure, weather influences such as headwinds, wet road surfaces, etc., climate, i.e., temperature, and humidity. Under optimal conditions (straight, paved road, no headwind, dry weather, a payload of approximately 70 kg, and defensive driving), the vehicle achieves the stated range. The range can be significantly reduced under adverse conditions.
