The lawn fertilizer with weed killer is ideal for combating the most common lawn weeds in a single step and simultaneously providing the lawn with nutrients as needed. The immediate effect after application destroys the weeds within a period of 1-2 weeks. Due to their selective effect, the active ingredients dicamba and 2,4-D do not affect the lawn grasses in any way when used correctly. The lawn fertilizer with weed killer can be used throughout the entire growing season (April – September), but not in the year of sowing.

Mode of action:

The active ingredient, dicamba, is a growth promoter that causes excessive weed growth, ultimately leading to a nutrient deficiency in the plant and thus to death. The weeds literally grow themselves to death. Warm and growth-promoting weather conditions further intensify this effect and accelerate the death process. The second active ingredient, 2,4-D, is absorbed by the plant primarily through the roots and is quickly transported basipetal-wise, i.e., into the leaves. This disrupts many metabolic processes and, as a result, leads to significant cell elongation and uncontrolled weed growth, which also contributes to weed death. The nitrogen contained in the lawn fertilizer with weed killer ensures rapid closure of gaps caused by weed death. The long-term fertilization results in a visually appealing, healthy, and weed-free lawn.

Instructions for use:

• It is best applied in warm, humid weather, 3–4 days after mowing, when the weeds have sufficient leaf mass. The lawn should be moist when applied; water beforehand if necessary.
• The fastest and best effect is achieved when Gärtner's lawn fertilizer with weed killer adheres to the weeds for 1 to 2 days. Rain or watering 2 to 3 days after application promotes the effect.
• The lawn should not be mowed again for at least 7 days after treatment.
• Do not apply to other crops, as damage may occur. Trees are not damaged.
• Do not use the first two grass clippings after application for mulching. Compost can be used after complete composting.
• The weed killer has no lasting effect.
• Treated lawns may only be used as play areas and lawns after the next mowing.
• Do not feed any harvested or grass clippings produced in the treatment year.
• The product contains the active ingredients 2,4 D and dicamba: Mechanism of action (HRAC group): 0.
