The Fifie was a very attractive and common fishing boat, seen in the waters off the east coast of Scotland from around 1850 and in service for about a century. These highly popular and successful vessels were real workhorses for Scottish fishing communities, particularly in landing herring.
The model kit is designed to be as accurate as possible in both scale and detail and has been developed for beginners and advanced builders, with some aspects simplified for ease of construction.
