Cold zone technology: The fat is heated by the heating element, which hangs freely in the fat at a distance from the floor. Above the heating element, the fat reaches a frying temperature of up to 190°C. Below the heating element, the fat is heated less intensely to approximately 85°C – this is the so-called cold zone. Advantage: Food residue sinks to the bottom without burning and can be easily filtered out after cooling. The fat can therefore be reused up to 2-3 times. Further advantages include faster heating and low-odor frying.
