Freedom to grow: Tall plants and large gardeners alike will enjoy the Uranus because there's enough room for both. A dream for all plant lovers! The Uranus is a model for the advanced gardener. It is available in four different sizes with floor areas ranging from 6.7 to 11.5 m² and in three colors: anodized aluminum, emerald, or black powder-coated. With its exceptional ridge height of 248 cm and eave height of 154 cm, the Uranus offers plenty of space even for tall plants. For glazing, you can choose between approximately 3 mm thick safety glass, crystal clear (ESG), and twin-wall panels (HKP). The twin-wall panels are available in thicknesses of approximately 4 and 6 mm. They are made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The roof window glazing of the models with twin-wall panels is approximately 4 mm thick. Twin-wall panels have better insulating properties than glass. They are more shatter-resistant and lighter. The slightly milky surface refracts the light, so shading is usually unnecessary. Safety glass, on the other hand, guarantees high light transmission and impresses with its "classic" glass appearance. However, on sunny, hot days, the glass should be shaded to protect plants from burning. Safety glass does not break sharply, thus providing greater safety compared to clear glass. With clinker glazing, the glass panes are installed overlapping and secured to the profile with glass spring clips. This model has a smooth-running, ball-bearing double sliding door with a width of 122 cm and a height of 191 cm. Each model is equipped with two or four skylights and rain gutters as standard.
