The first foldable all-metal food slicer, the icaro7, from ritterwerk impresses with its functionality. The device can be folded up and conveniently stowed away after use to save space. Even when in use, the food slicer takes up little space on the countertop. The all-metal construction ensures exceptional stability and thus optimal slicing results. Whether wafer-thin or up to 14 mm thick – everything is cut evenly into appetizing slices – regardless of whether it is sausage, cheese, fruit, or vegetables. Other functional details underscore the user-friendliness of the food slicer: For example, the blade can be easily removed for cleaning without tools thanks to a quick-release bayonet lock. The cutting carriage can also be removed for easy cleaning. The wide support surface allows for virtually unlimited cutting options. The two-finger safety switch system ensures extra safety while cutting. The icaro7 is powered by a 65-watt Eco motor, which is 20% more economical yet 50% more powerful than its predecessor. Due to its outstanding design, the foldable, all-metal icaro7 slicer was awarded the 2015 iF DESIGN AWARD. Also ideal as a bread slicer.
