Traxxas innovation delivers features, performance, and A level of detail no other lighting system can match. The included Traxxas High Voltage Amplifier packs the muscle to efficiently power the kit's 204 individual LEDs, minimizing losses from excess current and heat. The tightly regulated output ensures stable light output without flickering or dimming as battery voltage changes. In another Traxxas first, the intelligent brake lights work when brakes are applied in both forward and reverse directions. This eliminates the common and annoying problem with generic aftermarket systems that turn on the brake lights when reversing.

Wiring is simple: Plug the power amplifier's main connector into the power port of the Velineon VXL-6s electronic speed control located in the Unlimited Desert Racer, and then plug each lighting module into the power amplifier. Switch between three manual lighting modes (e.g., high and low beam) on the power amplifier, or use the Traxxas Link app and Wireless Module (#6511)* to remotely control individual lights and create custom lighting configurations. Of course, being from Traxxas, this powerful, feature-rich system is rugged and fully waterproof for all your exciting RC adventures.

Rather than draining valuable power from the BEC, the power amplifier uses the VXL-6s ESC's power port to tap power directly from the batteries. The power amplifier transforms and regulates the battery current to ensure reliable, high performance.

With three different lighting modes on the amplifier, you can control which lights illuminate. Use the Traxxas Link app* to further customize the lighting modes to your specifications, or turn the lights on and off directly in the app. The kit includes all mounting hardware to make installation a breeze. The LED Light Bar Kit is available as a complete set or as individual components, allowing Desert Racer owners to choose the exact setup that suits their needs.
