Glass-fiber reinforced components

The innovative components of Xperts cable drums are made of regranulated, glass-fiber reinforced special plastic, which is characterized by its very high breaking strength. This material is

corrosion-free and insulates the metal components from electrical voltage. It also exhibits high elongation at break and elastic energy absorption. Accordingly, the frame is extremely

robust and suitable for all weather conditions, even at temperatures down to -25°C.

Frame made of precision steel tubes

The frame is made of rust- and corrosion-free precision steel tubes and manufactured in a sophisticated production process according to environmental management standard ISO 14001. This ensures the necessary quality for Xperts cable reels. This outstanding material makes the frame both stable and flexible and is crucial for the particularly high damping effect of this innovative frame.

Optimized Design

The specially developed X-shaped back housing connects the stable double-tube base frame with the handle element, which is reduced to a single tube. The single tube used on the handle not only saves

weight, but also offers sufficient space to comfortably grip the handle while wearing gloves. The double-tube feet have a larger footprint thanks to foot rails, thus offering

very stable support even on uneven surfaces. The foot rails protect the double tube from the elements through ground contact and leave no abrasion on sensitive floor coverings.

Most Effective Shock Absorption

The curved shape of the frame is inspired by the double S-shape of the

human spine and its function. This special construction absorbs shocks extremely effectively and reduces vibrations to a minimum. The excess damping energy is optimally dissipated into the ground via the feet. All of this together gives the cable drum

a very stable stand and makes it more resistant to falls and other violent impacts to which the cable drum is exposed on the construction site.

The IronCoat series combines the advantages of a classic sheet steel cable drum with improved protection against dangerous contact voltages. Thanks to this special protective insulation, all models are approved for use on construction sites.

They can be used in dry, damp, and wet rooms, in service water, and permanently outdoors. Available in orange safety color.
