The STIHL HSA 56 cordless hedge trimmer is lightweight, handy, and powerful in use. It's ideal for trimming shrubs and hedges around the house. Not only is the STIHL HSA 56 intuitive to use, but thanks to its battery operation, it's emission-free and extremely quiet, so you don't need hearing protection. The double-sided cutting blade with its teardrop-shaped blade geometry impresses with its outstanding cutting performance.

The STIHL HSA 56 has a cutting length of 45 centimeters. The 2.9-kilogram tool is powered by a lithium-ion battery from the COMPACT cordless system and produces a sound pressure level of just 80 decibels. This allows you to trim hedges flexibly, even in noise-sensitive areas.

The double-sided cutting blade of the STIHL HSA 56 excels at both vertical and horizontal cuts. This makes trimming hedge corners particularly easy. And you can also work close to the ground or along walls without any problem: The STIHL HSA 56 features a guide guard that prevents potential damage to the blade.

To start, simply press the two switches located on the rear handle and the loop handle. This two-hand control is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The teardrop shape of the cutting teeth has the advantage of holding the branches against the blade during cutting. This innovative system allows you to achieve better cutting performance overall.

Intermediate position for battery in the device

The battery can be inserted into the device in two stages. AL 101 Charger (only included in the set)

The STIHL AL 101 charger is the ideal addition to many STIHL tools: It is compatible with all batteries from the COMPACT and PRO battery systems (abbreviation "AP" or "AK"). For maximum ease of use, the STIHL AL 101 standard charger is equipped with passive battery cooling and an LED operating status indicator. The cable can be wound up with a Velcro strap so that it stays out of the way during use and transport. If you are looking for a permanent location for the STIHL AL 101 charger, you can easily mount it on the wall. The device operates on a standard 230-volt household voltage. The STIHL AL 101 weighs just 0.7 kilograms. The charging time depends on the battery used and ranges from 80 to 250 minutes. The charger operates at a charging current of 1.6 amps.
