If you dream of a model railway but have little time and space, or want to acquire the necessary craftsmanship, you don't have to forego your own layout: NOCH offers a wide range of prefabricated terrain.

Delivery Format

NOCH prefabricated terrain can be assembled quickly without any special skills, as it is factory-finished: The "landscape," a three-dimensional plastic model mounted on a sturdy wooden frame, is realistically colored, painted, and grassed. Tunnel portals and side mounting openings are milled out, and tunnel bases are cut to size. Many terrains also include a complete bridge kit. Track plans are also included.

Assembly

Each prefabricated terrain (except add-on parts and terrain made of structural hard foam) comes with the DVD guide "Prefabricated Terrain." This will teach you everything you need to know about setting up NOCH prefabricated scenery. The track plans (included in delivery) are helpful for laying the track; they show the track layouts of various model railway brands and provide information on electrical connections. To ensure your layout is as realistic as possible, we have compiled a special parts list of accessories. You can, of course, also customize the equipment to your own specifications.

Expansion Options

Even if you want to expand, that's no problem. Almost all NOCH prefabricated scenery conforms to a specific standard. This means you can select the add-on parts you like best or combine several prefabricated scenery pieces together. This allows you to expand to the left, right, front, and (with the NOCH shadow yard system) downwards. If the finished system is temporarily not in use, the "lightweight" can be easily transported and stored upright.
