Recycled C940 cartridges from Compedo replace HP No. 940 black or HP 940 / C490xAE color.
Suitable for the following printer series:
HP OfficeJet Pro 8000 A809a,
HP OfficeJet Pro Wireless A809n,
HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909a,
HP OfficeJet Pro Wireless A909g, A910a, Plus A910g and compatibles.
Recycled cartridges are fully compatible with the original product and have at least the same, but usually higher, capacity, because the cartridges - unlike the original - are completely filled. Empty original cartridges are cleaned, wear parts are replaced, and the cartridge is refilled with high-quality ink and tested.
Some printers recognize that the cartridge is already used and immediately indicate it as empty, but continue printing without issues. However, some devices with a fax function have encountered the problem that received faxes from memory cannot be printed using these recycled cartridges, which are recognized as empty—all other functions work perfectly. Since there is currently no solution to the problem described, owners of such multifunction devices are left with the option of using original cartridges, at least temporarily, to print their faxes.
