The handy "Fromarex" cheese slicer uses a sharp stainless steel blade, not the usual wire. This allows for even slices of not only soft or hard cheese, but also hard sausage, ham, vegetables, or lettuce. The slice thickness can be varied by adjusting the scale. Pressing down the blade allows for easy handling.
